I believe this is the best electric fish scaler on the market as it uses a specially shaped scraper. The geometry of the scraper easily removes any type of fish scale. Unlike many other models, this scraper has rake angles and working edges. But the most important thing is that when it rotates, load is distributed among the teeth, applying all the torque in the narrow contact zone of each individual tooth, creating a force which no type of scales can resist.

Crafted in a solid block of stainless steel, scaler retain it’s original working properties, even after years of usage. The anatomically shaped handle is lightweight, comfortable and safe to use.

This electric fish scaler has double layer of protection. It has galvanically isolated body from the motor inside of device and additionally the grounding line connected to the body. Electric fish scaler parts

The flexible shaft of the electric fish scaler and casing of the flexible shaft are a friction pair. These spare parts for electric fish scale remover are made in a standard of 1.5m length and they are always in stock. The flexible shaft has a special multi-layer counter-winding scheme and provides a very good balance of flexibility and durability. These are lightweight, easy to use and durable parts when properly serviced.

The flexible shaft of the electric fish scaler and its casing must be lubricated periodically to avoid wearing out. The lubrication interval is every 30 hours of operation. The lubricant must be applied in a thin layer, since its consumption is low, and excess lubricant will be displaced out by the rotating shaft.

For lubrication of a flexible shaft, use grease with consistence № 2 in accordance with classification NLGI (NLGI-2, soft) from any manufacturer you trust. For example, we recommend to use the lubricant: Mobil Polyrex EM.

It is not recommended to use more thinner or thicker type of grease.

These parts were designed with the possibility of being installed on the kt-s electric fish scaler, considering that these devices were previously the most commonly available.

Electric fish scaler handle assembly.

You can upgrade your old kt-s electric fish scaler using a kt-s motor unit by attaching to it a new handle with a new scraper from the Wyvern electric fish scale remover. This method will cost you significantly less money and be more effective.

Please note that the design of the kt-s electric fish scale remover is different. Therefore, the upgrade and replacement of the handle must be carried out together with the installation disc (assembly is shown in the photo below), in order to maintain the ratio of the lengths of the flexible shaft of the electric fish scaler and its casing.
